ช่วงปีใหม่นี้ดีจริงๆ ถนนโล่งมาก อยากให้เป็นแบบนี้ทุกวันเลย เมื่อไหร่เราจะมีรัฐบาลที่หันมาเอาจริงเอาจังกับ รถไฟฟ้าใต้ดิน รถไฟฟ้าบนดิน รถไฟ รถเมล์ ซักที คนไทยจะได้เลิกใช้รถยนต์ มอไซต์ อากาศจะได้ดีๆ สามารถขี่จักรยานไปไหนมาไหนกันได้ อีกหน่อยเราคงแพ้เวียดนาม เพราะเค้ากำลังจะมีรถไฟแบบชินคังเซ็นแล้ว เฮ้อออ

I am not sure if the traffic will get any better even if the government is serious about their connections and quality of services.
In London, everything that you mentioned is in place (frequent services), still there is so much congestion (a lot of londoners ride bikes.). My city is quite small, still we have traffic problems during rush hours.
I think it’s more a matter of big cities. Many capitals around the world have the same problem even though public transportation is good. It’s also a matter of safety. Bangkok as well as many other capitals are not safe. Private transportation is a way out.
